Custom Northwoods Home with Modern Rustic Design
This custom-built Northwoods home blends contemporary architecture with the warmth and character of a luxury Wisconsin retreat. Surrounded by mature woods and vibrant fall color, the home features a dramatic dark exterior, standing-seam metal roofing, natural timber accents, expansive black-framed windows, stone details, and thoughtfully designed outdoor living spaces.
Inside, the home combines clean modern finishes with natural materials and highly functional custom spaces. Highlights include an open-concept kitchen and living area, custom cabinetry, stone fireplaces, vaulted and wood-paneled ceilings, a spacious walk-in pantry, custom mudroom, built-in bunk room, sauna, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and a finished lower-level entertainment area with a live-edge wood bar.
Large windows throughout the home bring the surrounding Northwoods landscape into the living spaces, while the combination of wood, stone, glass, metal, and neutral finishes creates a refined modern-rustic aesthetic. From the timber-framed entrance and landscaped exterior to the custom millwork and recreational spaces inside, the home demonstrates the craftsmanship and attention to detail possible in a fully custom Wisconsin home.
